This Privacy and Cookie Statement was last amended on December 1, 2018.

rb2 collects personal data and places cookies via rb2.nl, our website (hereafter called "rb2.nl"). We have drawn up this Privacy and Cookie Statement to show that we take the privacy of all personal data encountered within our company very seriously. For this reason, we carefully process and protect the personal data we collectin accordance with the requirements of the privacy legislation.This document explains how we at our company handle your personal data.

Purposes of the data processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:  

  • to provide access to our website;  
  • to create your personal account;  
  • to provide our services (such as software development);  
  • to process payments;  
  • to use the functionalities on our website;  
  • to contact you by email, telephone and/or WhatsApp, if you ask us to do so;  
  • to send our newsletter if you have given us permission to do so;  
  • to gain insight into the use of our website;  
  • to improve and evaluate our website and services;  
  • to make the internet offering more interesting by showing advertisements that match your interests;  
  • to make it possible for you to email, print or share a page via social networks;  
  • to enable you to publish your experiences with our services on our website. 

We will not process your personal data for purposes other than those specified above, unless you have given your prior consent or we are permitted or required to do so by law. 

Categories of personal data    

We use the following data for the purposes specified in this Privacy and Cookie Statement:  

  • company name (insofar as this is personal data), Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number;  
  • name;  
  • email address;  
  • telephone number (also for contact through WhatsApp if you wish);  
  • password;  
  • services you have purchased;  
  • IP address;  
  • cookie ID;  
  • technical information (device used, operating system and internet browser);  
  • any personal data that you have entered as message content to us (email, contact form or chat message).  

We may process such personal data in order to carry out an agreement with you (such as providing our services), either because you have given your consent or because we are legally obliged to do so (for example, when we retain certain information for the Tax and Customs Administration).

Retention period

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy and Cookie Statement. We keep records of your services purchased and payments for as long as necessary to provide our services to you, or longer if we are obliged to do so for the Tax and Customs Administration, for example. We retain information you send us via a contact form, chat message or email for as long as necessary to fully process your question or request. 

We store experiences with our services that you publish through our website for one year.

Confidentiality and data provision to third parties

All data collected on this site or provided to us through the users of our services will be treated confidentially. We will not lend, rent or sell such data to third parties for their marketing purposes.  

In order to provide our services and process orders, we need to pass on your data to:  

  • payment service providers;  
  • Mailchimp (for sending newsletters and service messages);  
  • HubSpot, marketing tool;  
  • external ICT service providers.  

Mailchimp and HubSpot are based in the United States and are Privacy Shield certified, meaning that transferring data to these parties outside of the EU is permitted.  

If it is necessary for the services you purchase from us, we may pass on your data to our sister companies in China, Nigeria en Portugal. We have entered into an EU model contract with these parties, containing agreements on transferring and processing personal data, to ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data.  

In addition, we will not disclose this information in any other way or provide it to third parties unless you have given your consent, doing so is necessary in the context of carrying out the agreement or we may or must do so by operation of law. The information you provide will be treated with the utmost care. 

Security

We take appropriate security measures to limit the misuse of and unauthorised access to your personal data.This allows us to ensure that only the necessary individuals have access to your data, that access to your personal data is restricted and that our security measures are regularly checked.
