This year, Circle Economy has been selected as the winner of rb2’s Dream Team competition. Over the next few months, a team of rb2 consultants, architects, and developers will collaborate with this Amsterdam-based impact organization to develop a new self-assessment tool. Circle Economy's mission is to double global circularity by 2032, recognizing the circular economy as a powerful tool to combat climate change. The new self-assessment tool, a technically complex and innovative product, will help accelerate circularity adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide.

Scaling Digitally to Achieve Circularity Goals Currently, 91% of materials used in the global economy are wasted. Ambitious sustainability goals, like those set by Circle Economy, are critical. By making their expertise available through a digital platform, the foundation aims to reach more companies, institutions, and governments with their knowledge and experience.

Ivonne Bojoh, Head of Digital at Circle Economy, shared: "When rb2 called to tell us we’d won the Dream Team competition, there was a moment of silence on the line. We couldn’t believe that our foundation could win something so amazing. We feel honored, happy, and grateful. Our mission to double global circularity is something we cannot achieve alone. We need partners, and a partner like rb2 helps us tremendously. We’re excited to roll out this upcoming product to SMEs around the world with pride."

Dennis van Marle, CEO at rb2, commented: "We are thrilled to once again realize a beautiful, technically challenging, and innovative idea, just like we did in the first edition of the competition. Circle Economy is an incredible organization striving to make the world a better place, and we’re happy to contribute. We look forward to working on this project together with the Circle Economy team."
